However, due to the oil cooler’s placement and lack of protection from road debris that may flick up, it is left open and exposed to damage, which could cause imminent engine failure.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eThe Solution\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOur solution to creating a direct replacement under tray in 2mm aluminium began with a full 3D scan of the vehicle’s underside to ensure a perfect fitment that reuses all original mounting points.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAs a result, it requires no drilling or cutting and is completely reversible if required. The kit comes supplied with a rubber trim to seal the under tray and extended vents to protect the oil cooler without disrupting air flow in order to ensure cooling effectiveness.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinished in a high-quality black powder coat finish, the under tray offers improved protection, durability and cooling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePlease note:\u003c\/strong\u003e The under tray uses existing mounting points – but it is essential the fixings you use to secure it are of good quality. The original BMW fittings should only be used if they’re in good condition.
