Secondly, to improve aerodynamics by creating a low pressure area as air accelerates past its smooth surface. This reduces drag, which works towards improving grip, handling as well as fuel efficiency.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLastly, on performance models, the under tray often provides increased cooling by either venting cold air to, or extracting warm air from the engine bay. Therefore improving the strength, design, size and cooling effect can offer fantastic benefits.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOur Solution\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe original Clio 197 and 200 under tray is very short and covers just a small area of the car’s underside. It is made from thin plastic and features a single cooling guide directed at the transmission. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur solution to creating a direct replacement under tray in 2mm aluminium began with a full 3D scan of the vehicle’s underside to ensure a perfect fitment. We quickly identified the design of the under tray could be dramatically extended to cover a larger area and this huge increase in surface area would create a beneficial aerodynamic improvement. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe air vent was retained but increased in size and additional venting was also added to help create more air flow within the engine bay to further improve cooling. It reuses all original mounting points and fixings as well as extra points further back, offering improved strength and protection for the underside of the car.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinished in a high-quality black powder coat finish, the under tray offers improved strength, durability and cooling effectiveness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePLEASE NOTE: \u003c\/strong\u003eThe under tray uses existing mounting points so it is essential the original fittings are in good condition and have a clean thread.
