Featuring a large, free-flowing cotton air filter housed inside a three-piece enclosure, the comprehensive kit also includes a replacement aluminium intake pipe. To ensure the new air filter does not suffer with heat soak issues from the confines of the engine bay, the laser cut heat shields provide a barrier from the heat of the engine and is fed cold air from the original front intake.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe result is increased power, improved throttle response, heightened induction noise and a more pleasing look to the engine bay. The kit is a direct replacement that requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit, and comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instruction\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOptional Secondary Cold Air Feed:\u003c\/strong\u003e To increase the volume of cold air directed towards the air box, there is also an optional cold air feed inlet, which fits in place to the underside of the new air box. We found that our Forge pleated filter worked best with an increase in power and torque while maintaining the best filtration properties, the build quality of the filter is superb and carries a limited lifetime warranty. This performance filter has been designed with a high quality silicone coupling and W2 Stainless Steel hose clamps to join the anodized black machined billet velocity stack. The filter is made using a high quality, high flow, synthetic nanofiber filtration media which is pleated to maximise surface area and in turn increase air flow. Our skilled CAD engineers have simulated different MAF sensor housing models to create the best design for this kit.
