The Golf R Mk8 had big boots to fill, after the ginormous success of its predecessor, it had to bring something new to the table. Competing with the likes of Audi’s RS3, and Mercedes’ A45, the competition was always going to hot up.
Volkswagen furnished the Mk8 Golf R with a brand new interior and revised version of the EA888 motor, whilst currently not as popular as the outgoing model, the Mk8 Golf R continues to grow a large fan base.
