Eventuri is proud to announce the release of our new BMW G8x Strut Brace, a perfect fusion of functionality, craftsmanship, and design. Made from high-quality prepreg carbon fiber, this strut brace is engineered to provide structural support while also making a bold visual statement.
The Eventuri G8x strut brace incorporates intricate geometrical details that serve to mitigate dynamic stresses while enhancing its aesthetic appeal. It features CNC-machined inserts and custom-made stainless steel hardware for durability and a touch of sophistication. The custom hardware is machined from 316 stainless steel in a natural finish, perfectly complementing the carbon fiber and completing the overall aesthetic.
The complex surface design showcases raised sections and deep fillets, which are harmoniously complemented by fluid lines that bring everything together in an organic fashion. The mounting positions are crafted with deeply sculpted pockets that are lined with satin anodized inserts, creating a beautiful contrast against the carbon fiber finish.
More than just a functional part, the Eventuri G8x carbon strut brace elevates then aesthetics of the engine bay, framing the intake and engine cover beautifully.
We instructed an independent testing company to measure the deflection of our carbon brace and compare that against the OEM CSL brace. Both braces were mounted to a custom made jig to which both tensile and compressive loads were applied. The maximum load applied was 10kN. As can be seen in the results, the carbon brace performed marginally better than the OEM CSL brace.
