The factory airbox on the Audi S3 8Y is designed primarily to minimise engine noise, creating a significant airflow bottleneck for the EA888 Gen 4. Upgrading your induction hardware is one of the most rewarding modifications you can make, delivering sharper throttle response, faster turbo spool, and unlocking that addictive intake flutter.
Induction Kits & Panel Filters: Choose a drop-in high-flow panel filter to improve breathing within the standard airbox, or completely replace the restrictive factory setup with a comprehensive performance induction kit to maximise cold air volume.
Turbo Elbows & Hoses: The OEM turbo inlet pipe is notoriously narrow. Upgrading to a high-flow turbo elbow removes this critical bottleneck, while smooth silicone induction pipes & hoses ensure high velocity, unrestricted airflow is delivered directly into the turbocharger.
