The factory exhaust architecture on the 992 generation is heavily restricted by modern emissions equipment, including catalytic converters and gasoline particulate filters. Removing these bottlenecks with high-flow Exhaust Downpipes or GPF Deletes drastically reduces turbo backpressure, improves gas scavenging, and accelerates turbo spool times. Pairing these components with a valved or non-valved Cat-Back Exhausts system completely alters the acoustic signature, restoring the mechanical flat-six howl.
