The M177 DE40 is a masterpiece of Affalterbach engineering, but pushing this 4.0-litre V8 into hypercar-slaying territory demands a fortified bottom end capable of withstanding immense cylinder pressures. Safeguard your block against extreme forced induction stress with high-strength Forged Pistons and heavy-duty Forged Connecting Rods. Secure the rotating assembly firmly using high-tensile Uprated Engine Bolts (ARP) and minimize internal friction utilizing race-specification Performance Bearings (Conrod & Mains). Maximize cylinder head airflow with Performance Camshafts, and finalize your bulletproof motor build utilizing our selection of Misc Engine Parts.
