Designed and manufactured by Scorpion’s experienced engineering team, these 80mm (3.15″) downpipes are tailored specifically for the BMW M2C/M3/M4 F8x. By replacing the standard exhaust downpipes, it optimises exhaust gas flow from your turbocharged engine and helps enhance performance for a more involving driving experience, all while maintaining a clean, OE-style fit and finish.

Sports Cat or De-Cat?

Scorpion offers two downpipe configurations to match your driving preferences:

Sports Cat: Balances power gains with reduced emissions and improved road compliance. Provides a deeper tone than the standard restrictive downpipe without droning.
De-Cat: Maximises exhaust flow and volume with a straight through section. This is intended for off-road use only.

How Does It Improve Your M2C/M3/M4?

A downpipe upgrade improves your car by reducing exhaust back pressure at the turbo outlet, allowing the turbocharger to spool faster and operate more efficiently. This results in noticeable gains in horsepower and torque, sharper throttle response, and improved mid range pull, especially when combined with ECU tuning.

In addition, a high flow sports cat or de-cat downpipe enhances exhaust sound, delivering a deeper, more aggressive tone under load while reducing heat retention in the turbo system. On tuned setups, it also helps maintain more stable boost and exhaust gas temperatures, supporting safer and more consistent performance under hard driving.
