The XTA plus 3 features adjustable Unibal top mounts on the front axle, providing additional alignment adjustment beyond the standard factory suspension.

Front camber can be fine tuned after installation, allowing you to optimise the tyre contact patch and front end characteristics for your particular setup. Depending on the vehicle application, the top mounts can also provide caster adjustment.

The biggest advantage of the XTA plus 3 is its independently adjustable 3-way damping system.

The rebound damping provides 16 clicks of adjustment, allowing you to control how quickly the suspension extends after compression. A firmer rebound setting provides greater body control and a more immediate response, while reducing the rebound damping can provide a more compliant setup for road use.Compression damping is independently adjustable in both low speed and high speed ranges, with 24 clicks of adjustment for each.

Low speed compression primarily influences chassis movements such as body roll, steering response and the vehicle's behaviour under acceleration and braking. High speed compression has a greater influence when the suspension encounters rapid inputs such as potholes, kerbs, short bumps and transverse joints.

This separation allows the suspension to be tuned with considerably greater precision than a conventional single adjustment damper.The XTA plus 3 provides stepless ride height adjustment, allowing you to precisely set the vehicle's stance within the vehicle specific approved range.

The dirt resistant trapezoidal adjustment thread is designed to make height adjustment straightforward, while the polyamide composite spring perches incorporate stainless steel inserts to reduce corrosion and maintain adjustment functionality over time.

The XTA plus 3 uses a two part linear racing spring system, consisting of a linear main spring and, depending on the application, a linear preload/helper spring.

The linear main spring provides a consistent and predictable spring rate throughout its working range, helping deliver repeatable suspension behaviour during hard driving. The preload spring keeps the main spring under tension when the suspension is unloaded, including at greater ride height settings.

This gives the XTA plus 3 the flexibility required for both performance road cars and more demanding track-focused applications.
