The (relatively) new M2 G87 has taken the automotive world by storm and with the new generation of motors utilising the S58 powerplants hitting the roads it was only a matter of time before Scorpion got their hands on one!

Heeding back to the early days of Scorpion, one of the first exhausts they ever developed was for the BMW E30 M3, back when they introduced their legendary DTM tailpipes to the UK market. Ever since, Scorpion Exhausts have been at the forefront of producing performance exhausts for BMW's M division and numerous others.

Once installed, the new, free-er flowing GPF back exhaust system improves the G87 M2's power and sharpens up the throttle response as well as reducing the system weight by -1.81kg. Press the Sports button and take note of the deep, throaty soundtrack which crackles and pops when the car is in sport mode and warmed up! Here's a list of each component from front to back:

  • High-Flow downpipesif you are chasing more power from the S58 platform, Scorpion's selection of twin high-flow turbo downpipes reduce heat soak, and engine bay temperatures, whilst offering peak gains over the OEM downpipe!
  • GPF Delete Pipes (X-Pipe)Maximise performance with the Scorpion GPF-delete X-pipe, its' interlinked design promotes equal pressure between the two lengths.
  • GPF Delete Pipe (Single-Pipe) - The 89.9mm large diameter single mid pipes boast vastly improved turbo spool-times, thanks to a significant reduction in back pressure. Features a high strength under-body brace replacement.
  • Front Crossover Pipe - The front crossover pipe for the M2 G87 replaces the restrictive OEM pipe, unleashing torque, and high-end performance (please note this item does not fit with the Scorpion single-mid pipe)

We are excited to see and hear one of these systems in the flesh and on the track - the S58 deserves a better soundtrack, and Scorpion can provide just that!
