R8 Gen 1

Introduced in 2007, the original R8 V8 was inspired by the Audi Le Mans concept car, it also shared the same chassis as the Lamborghini Gallardo, featuring a 4.2 V8 FSI engine, Audi’s first foray into the super car world was a success.

2009 saw the introduction of the 5.2 V10 powerplant, which also shared some history with Lamborghini, then in 2012 Audi redesigned the R8, bumping up the power to 560bhp, and offering lashings of carbon options.
