Carrying on from the success of the 981 generation GT4 and Spyder, the 718 GT4/Spyder had a hard act to follow, however as with everything Porsche, it's very rare they get it wrong. Evolution over revolution was the name of the game for the second generation of 'entry level' Porsche Motorsports road car.

Over 400bhp from a new 4.0 flat 6 engine, along with the PDK gearbox and mid engined layout made the 718 generation GT4 and Spyder an instant classic, and who knows, with an electric Boxster/Cayman on the horizon, maybe this will be the last GT4 as we know it?
