MMX Front Differential Lift Mount/Cradle - BMW M2, M3, M4 G8x

The MMX Front Differential Lift Mount / Cradle (MMR55-1604) is a precision machined replacement for the G8x M2, M3 and M4 diff mount, designed to reduce movement under load. Fitted on its own in the OEM position, it tightens up the connection between the differential and the chassis, cutting down on drivetrain movement under hard acceleration and load changes, without changing the vehicle's geometry.

The same cradle also solves a problem specific to lowered cars. Lowering a G8x M2, M3 or M4 changes the geometry of the rear axle, placing the driveshafts under an angle they were never designed to run at. This accelerates wear on CV joints and axle shafts, and increases heat build up at the diff. Paired with the MMX Rear Diff Raised Poly Bush (MMR55-1605), the cradle raises the differential by 10mm, restoring correct driveshaft geometry and taking the strain off the drivetrain. This is the 3-point kit, one cradle (MMR55-1604) and one raised bush (MMR55-1605).

For a full 4-point setup, the MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1606) is added alongside a second raised bush, giving further control over differential movement at the corrected, lifted height. The 4-point kit is one cradle (MMR55-1604), two raised bushes (MMR55-1605) and the dual differential mount (MMR55-1606).

What makes the cradle unique is that one product covers both applications. It isn't a raised version and a stock version sold separately, it's a single cradle where the bush and mount configuration at the point of fitting determines whether it's simply reducing movement, or correcting geometry on a lowered car.
