Technical Data

As part of our expanding BMW product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our Direct Dual Route induction kit upgrade aimed at modified G-Series M car owners who want to improve the performance of their car with a simple, bolt-on modification for track or fast road use.

By stripping back the car’s induction system to the essentials and using a single, huge AIRTEC Motorsport Group A cotton air filter, we’ve created a kit with the shortest possible route from the filter to the turbos. The benefits of this open design that feeds both turbos with significantly reduced pipework is far less restriction, which increases power, performance and sound, thanks to a much louder induction note even in comparison to other induction kits.

The kit has been designed to use original rubber mounts and also retains the original front air feed to provide a constant flow of fresh, cold air towards the filter, which is protected from warm air within the engine bay by a laser-cut heatshield.

There are two finishes available for this kit, the first made from thermoplastic for strength, appearance and sound, the kit also comes with Pro Hoses silicone connectors, all fixtures and fittings as well as detailed installation instructions. The second is constructed with high-quality carbon fibre for increased strength, appearance and sound

Its improved air flow, performance, sound and visual gains, as well as its straight-forward fitment make it an essential modification for all modified G-Series M car models.

TESTED
Dyno tested on a Dyno Dynamics rolling road at WG Motorworks using our own BMW M2 G87 fitted with downpipes, mid-pipes, our AIRTEC Motorsport turbo inlets and a custom tune.

This saw a 6.9bhp gain from a back-to-back test against a our other AIRTEC Motorsport induction kit.
