As enthusiasts continue to push the GR Corolla and GR Yaris beyond factory limits, the stock radiator has demonstrated its shortcomings. High performance modifications, such as larger turbochargers, generate significantly more heat that must be effectively dissipated. Additionally, the factory intercooler is positioned directly in front of the radiator, transferring its heat load through the system. In racing conditions, this can lead to excessive coolant temperatures and potentially trigger limp mode, compromising performance.
CSF vs. OEM: A Superior Cooling Solution
The OEM Toyota radiator features a single row aluminium core with plastic end tanks. While adequate for stock configurations, it has room for improvement. The factory core measures just 27mm thick, limiting cooling capacity.

The CSF radiator incorporates advanced 5mm fin technology, which significantly enhances heat dissipation while maintaining optimal airflow. A substantial upgrade over the stock unit, the CSF radiator boasts a 2-row, 42mm aluminum core, increasing fluid capacity and vastly improving heat dispersion. Additionally, CSF’s exclusive B-Tube Technology enhances heat transfer by approximately 15% compared to standard oval welded tubes.
