HEL Toyota GR Yaris Gen 2 Oil Catch Can Kit

The Toyota GR Yaris, since its 2020 debut, has quickly become a standout in the automotive world. Its small, lightweight chassis is perfectly matched with Toyota’s rally-inspired AWD system and a powerful 1.6L 3-cylinder turbocharged engine. The GR Yaris has attracted global attention, becoming a familiar sight on roads and race tracks worldwide. Following the success of the HEL's direct-fitting oil cooler and oil catch can kits, we knew we had to get one in the workshop. Our goal was simple; to design and manufacture user-friendly, easy-to-install kits that require either no, or very little modifications.

During the design process, we took aftermarket air intake and induction kits into consideration. The mounting bracket and oil catch can assembly doesn't protrude further than the surrounding vacuum hoses, so it doesn't interfere with large intake ducts like the Eventuri and MST kits.

To ensure perfect fitment, we 3D laser scanned the engine bay, engine, and ancillaries. After determining the ideal position for the catch can, custom mounting brackets were designed using the factory mounting points. We 3D-printed a prototype for fitment testing before manufacturing the final aluminum version. All HEL oil catch can brackets are laser cut, precision-folded, and powder-coated in black, resulting in a stealthy finish.

Introducing an oil catch can to the PCV system will separate any oil and water residue and prevent the build-up of aerated oil and carbon deposits. Having cleaner air between the engine's crankcase and intake manifold will result in lower hydrocarbon emissions and improved engine performance.

Delivered with pre-assembled high-flow performance silicone hoses and aluminium fittings, our comprehensive kit has everything required for a straightforward installation. We've added a handy anodised Red dipstick to check the contaminant levels that are collected in the oil catch can. For quick and easy removal, we've included an accessible drain plug to remove any unwanted deposits that have been filtered from the system.
