As part of our expanding Renault platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch the enclosed version of our intake kit for the Megane 4 RS models, suitable for track or fast road use.
Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a comprehensive solution to improving the car’s original air intake system to allow more flow whilst maintaining low intake temperatures, improving response, as well as sound and aesthetics within the engine bay.
Having previously designed a number of enclosed induction kits for other performance models, we were keen to develop an extensive intake package for the Megane 4 RS to offer significant improvements.
As a result, our kit is also the only one on the market that completely replaces the entire pipework all the way from the air feed to the turbo inlet. We developed a larger flange with improved flow that bolts directly to the turbo inlet to replace the original. This attaches to our enlarged Pro Hoses larger silicone intake hose, before securing to our alloy intake pipe and large cotton air filter, which is sealed inside the four-piece enclosure and fed a constant supply of fresh air from the original air feeds.
The result is increased power, improved throttle response, heightened induction noise and a more pleasing look to the engine bay.
The kit is a direct replacement that requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit and comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instructions.
