As part of our expanding BMW platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our M5 F10 induction kit suitable for fast road or track use.

Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a simple solution to improving the car’s original air intake system to allow more flow, which improves power, throttle response as well as induction sound and aesthetics within the engine bay.

The car’s original induction system is well designed and features a good cold air feed that channels air to the lower section of the air boxes. As a result, we felt it was best to utilise this design and evolve it to create a freer flowing kit that features two 90mm cone air filters to replace the panel filters housed inside the original air box lower sections. The top sections of the air boxes are replaced with laser-cut aluminium shields that feature a rubber seal to help enclose them in the engine bay to help avoid heat soak.

The filters are attached to replacement aluminium pipework that measures a continuous 90mm throughout with no internal restrictions or pinch points and come finished in high-quality black powder coat. They are also mirrored for the perfect fitment and look.

The kit is a direct replacement that requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit, and comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed instructions.

Please note: If your car has had a remap performed, you may need your ECU recalibrated to suit the increased air flow to avoid the EML emitting. Standard cars should not need an ECU recalibration to counter the increased air flow.
