The adjustable Unibal front top mounts allow the camber to be fine tuned even after the coilovers have been installed. Increasing the available camber adjustment can help optimise tyre contact during cornering, while also giving you the ability to tailor the front end response to your specific setup.
ST XTA coilovers also feature 16-stage rebound damping adjustment. The dampers are supplied with a vehicle specific basic setting, providing a proven starting point before allowing you to fine tune the rebound characteristics to suit your preferences. Adjusting the rebound damping allows you to alter body control and the balance between a more comfortable road going setup and a firmer, more sporting driving experience.
The XTA provides stepless ride height adjustment, allowing you to fine tune the vehicle's stance within the approved adjustment range.
The coarse, dirt resistant trapezoidal adjustment thread makes ride height changes straightforward, while the composite spring perches feature stainless steel inserts to improve corrosion resistance and help maintain smooth adjustment over time.
A key feature of the ST XTA is its two part linear race spring system. The main spring uses a constant spring rate, providing predictable and consistent suspension behaviour throughout its working range. Depending on the application, a separate linear preload spring keeps the main spring securely under tension when the suspension is unloaded.
This linear spring configuration makes the XTA particularly well suited to performance focused road cars and drivers who want a more predictable response when pushing the car harder.
