Founded in 1909 Audi is historically known for its German luxury car models with incredible reliability. Volkswagen purchased a majority share of Audi in 1964 and the two companies began to share underpinnings early in the 70s. In 1980 Audi launched the Quattro model which lead to a huge cult following for the Audi brand from car enthusiasts alike.
Audi's S and RS models are known across the world as being some of the best performance cars on the market. Much like with BMW's M and M Performance models, the Audi S models are the more affordable alternative to the full fat RS models, both however cover almost every model in the modern Audi line up.
