VW Golf GTI Mk7

2013 saw the release of Volkswagen’s seventh iteration of their legendary hot hatch; the Golf GTI. Equipped with the same EA888 engine as a lot of its VAG Group companions albeit in a detuned state for the GTI.

The recipe still remained the same, a small, nimble, front-wheel drive hatchback, that retained a playful nature when driven on the edge. Did Volkswagen hit the mark? We think so.
