Transform your Fiesta ST or Puma ST engine bay with the 09Design Aluminium Coolant Header Tank, a direct replacement for the standard plastic expansion tank that combines precision engineering, improved durability and unmistakable 09D styling.
Manufactured from billet aluminium using a two-piece design, the tank replaces one of the most visually prominent plastic components within the engine bay with a substantial, precision-machined alternative. Finished in anodised black, the intricate machined detailing across the upper section creates a distinctive technical appearance that complements the rest of the 09D engine bay range.
Unlike many aftermarket aluminium header tanks, we've also retained an easy way to check the coolant level. An integrated internal fill-level indicator uses a raised platform positioned directly beneath the filler neck, allowing the coolant level to be visually checked simply by removing the cap and looking into the tank.

INTEGRATED COOLANT LEVEL INDICATOR
Replacing the translucent factory coolant reservoir with an aluminium tank creates one obvious challenge - how do you check the coolant level?
Rather than accepting that compromise, the 09D Billet Aluminium Header Tank incorporates a dedicated fill-level indicator inside the tank.
Remove the coolant cap and look through the filler neck and you'll see a precisely positioned raised platform within the reservoir. This provides a visual reference for the correct coolant level, allowing routine checks to be carried out without the need for an external sight tube or window that would detract from the clean billet design.
It's a small detail, but exactly the sort of detail that matters.
