MINI Cooper S F56 (2014-2024)

As part of our expanding Mini product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our direct replacement aluminium undertray for the F56.

The original undertray on this car is notoriously weak due to the fibre material construction and as a result are prone to failure over time.

The cooling ducts help pull air from the back of the radiator and down under the engine and into the low-pressure area of the car.

Our solution to creating a direct replacement undertray in 2mm aluminium began with a full 3D scan of the vehicle’s underside to ensure a perfect fitment. As a result, it reuses all original mounting points and fixings whilst offering improved strength and protection for the underside of the car.

During research for this product, we discovered that Mini reduced the size of the under tray on the JCW GP3 model, exposing more of the underside of the engine. This was done to help air flow and cooling, so we opted to use the same principle by introducing a large open rear to the under tray.

This actively helps to pull warm air from the back of the radiator, down under the engine and into the low-pressure area of the car below. This effectively creates an increased flow path within the engine bay to transfer heat out, helping to reduce engine running temperatures.

Finished in a high-quality black powder coat finish, the undertray offers improved strength, durability and cooling effectiveness.

PLEASE NOTE: The undertray uses existing mounting points and bolts, but it is essential the original fittings are in good condition. These should only be reused if they still support the bolt properly and you are able to tighten it firmly. If they are worn or broken and offer little to no resistance as you wind the bolt in, they should be replaced with new items, as failure to do so may cause the undertray to work loose.
