Sound
The Akrapovič Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) amplifies the Porsche's iconic flat-six engine note, delivering a deep and harmonious tone at lower speeds, transitioning to a true racing quality with high-frequency tones at higher revs. Tailored by two in-house cast titanium valves, the system delivers a +7.0 dB increase, creating a richer and more dynamic exhaust note that dramatically enhances the driving experience without being overpowering. Designed to maintain refinement, it eliminates unpleasant droning or streaming noise, ensuring an engaging and balanced sound profile in all driving conditions.
Performance
The Slip-On Race Line delivers impressive performance gains while significantly reducing weight. Dyno testing against the stock system recorded a power increase of +7.6 hp at 4,950 rpm and a torque gain of +14.2 ft-lb at 2,250 rpm. The system’s lightweight titanium construction reduces weight by 7.6 kg—a 44% reduction over the stock exhaust—enhancing handling and agility on the track. Installation requires no ECU remapping, allowing seamless integration with the vehicle’s factory setup.
Further performance upgrades can be achieved with the optional, modular components:
- Link Pipe Set (Titanium): Achieves a power gain of +26.5 hp at 4,950 rpm and a torque increase of +28.1 ft-lb at 4,900 rpm, reducing weight by an additional 4.9 kg (38.9%).
- Evolution Header Set (Titanium): Delivers a total performance increase of +35.4 hp and +37.5 ft-lb from stock, with a further weight reduction of 5.0 kg (51.4%).
