The Audi RS6/ RS7 and Audi S6/ S7 feature an indirect intercooler circuit where the charge air is cooled by a water-cooled intercooler. On this vehicle, the intercooler sits specifically in the hot V of the engine to provide optimal cooling.
Our unique Wagner Tuning performance intercooler was developed specifically for the demanding requirements of RS models. With a high quality intercooler core, it offers 118% more external core volume compared to the original. The ratio between the internal and external cooling surface ensures maximum heat transfer while allowing optimal internal airflow. Through CFD simulations, the end boxes were developed from high-quality aluminium chill casting to ensure optimal airflow conditions. The result is outstanding cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This kit is therefore also ideally suited for racing. Our Wagner Tuning charge air coolers are equipped with a heat-conducting anti-corrosion coating to ensure lasting durability. The installation of the system is uncomplicated and plug & play thanks to our simple installation instructions.
