The ASK1 Anti-Squeal Shim Kit is a universal product. This means it is designed and intended to work with a wide variety of vehicles.

The measurements are provided in the product image above - this should cover the vast majority of pad shapes and sizes. Please contact us if you arre unsure.

To use these anti-squeal shim kits - cut with scissors to shape required and apply these shims to the reverse side (painted side) of the brake pads to prevent brake noise. The fibre must cover all areas contacted by the hydraulic pistons or the caliper supports.

They are supplied with an adhesive backing for ease of use - the shims are easily cut to size  and then bonded to the brake pad backing plate, each shim has a 3M 200MP adhesive backing for effortless bonding. These rubber shims dampen harmonics passed through the pad to the caliper and suspension system to reduce the overall audible noise.

Once fitted they cannot be removed and re-used, they are also not a miracle cure for poor brake discs / brake pads or faulty hydraulics. They are simply designed to reduce braking noise.
